Milk Bar's Iconic Cake Truffles Are Now Available at Target in the Form of Nostalgic Snack Cakes

There’s no dessert I love more than Birthday Cake Truffles from Milk Bar, and while I realize that’s a pretty bold statement, trust me, they really are that good. But I have to admit, the bakery’s new Truffle Crumb Cakes, inspired by its wildly popular cake truffles, might end up topping my reigning favorite. Exclusively revealed to POPSUGAR, Milk Bar is unveiling its Truffle Crumb Cakes – described as the brand’s signature Cake Truffles in the form of a “childhood supermarket snack cake” – at Target stores everywhere starting today.

At $3 for a pack of two, the Truffle Crumb Cakes are made of dense, fudgy cake batter on the inside and coated in a crunchy layer of icing, sprinkles, and crumbs on the outside. They come in three sugary-sweet flavors – Birthday, Chocolate Birthday, and Chocolate Chip – and can be found in the refrigerated aisles at your local Target. For those who’ve tried the famous Cake Truffles, you can probably expect a similar taste, but with an added crunch. Personally, I can’t promise I won’t be stuffing my face with all three flavors as soon as I get my hands on them.

Aside from Milk Bar’s recent cookie launch at Whole Foods, the bakery’s treats were previously only available to buy in its brick-and-mortar stores in select cities, as well as via its online store. In addition to the new Truffle Crumb Cakes, the bakery’s chewy soft-baked cookies are also available in Target stores at $5 for a carton of eight cookies. The delicious desserts will also be coming to grocery stores like Gelson’s Markets, Fresh Thyme, Fresh Market, and Shoprite later this month.
