Uh, Turns Out Delta Goodrem Might Be a Judge on The Block Next Year
Well here’s a story I never thought I’d be writing. Rumour has it, singing sensation and Aussie sweetheart Delta Goodrem is rumoured to be joining The Block next year as a judge.
Oh, and just FYI, everything you’re about to read here, take it with a grain of salt, because I don’t actually have solid sources to back this claim — but hey! It’s fun to think about.
It all started when Delta Goodrem made an appearance on the renovation reality show, to help the contestants prepare for a lip-syncing challenge.
And trust me, we’re just as confused over this challenge as you are, but anyway, back to Delta.
Since then, contestants Tanya and Vito have come forward, gushing over the vocalist, because of course, who wouldn’t?
“It was so beautiful to see Delta, she was lovely and charming to us. Vito was full-on fangirling – he started opening up and spilling out all of his emotions,” contestant Tanya told Woman’s Day.
“I think Delta got to see a little bit about who we are, which was also so nice.”
After this occurred, Now To Love claim that her appearance on the show was so well received that she may be invited back.
Look, it kind of makes sense, because just last week it was announced current judge Shaynna Blaze will be busy with her own reality show Country Home Rescue. So naturally, many have been speculating whether she’ll appear on The Block next year.
To add more fuel to the fire, Delta spoke to Woman’s Day, saying she’s pretty much up for anything, and that she’s always looking to be “pushing myself creatively and trying new things”.
“I’m always incredibly open to finding those awesome [roles], and the right stories to be a part of.”
Oh, and she mentioned that she’s a huge fan of the show.
“I sit and binge-watch on the couch with my friends just like everyone else!”
While it makes absolutely no sense, it also kind of … does?
Anyway, guess we’re just going to have to wait till next year to find out if the whispers are true.
