“I F***ed Up”: MAFS’ Jackson and Olivia Address Cheating Scandal in Instagram Video
Pour yourself a drink because you’re going to need one to get through this story. Married At First Sight’s most infamous couple just can’t seem to stay out of the headlines.
Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie have been embroiled in a messy cheating scandal after a TikTok video of Lonie kissing another woman began circulating online. If you want to catch up before you continue reading, then check out what happened here.
Now that you’re up to speed, the couple has released an Instagram video together addressing the incident and it’s uh … awkward to say the least.
It gives off major ‘hostage video’ vibes, with Frazer seeming to have forced Lonie to film it. Lonie starts off by saying: “We’re just taking a second to jump on here to address what happened last week.
“It’s shit, I f***ed up,” said the reality star. He continued: “It’s not the person I want to be. It’s not who I am. I am seeking help to try and figure out new ways to combat my emotions and how to deal with this negativity.”
He finished up the video by addressing Frazer directly, who sat beside him during the entire clip.
“It has been shit, but I’m lucky to have Liv by my side and she has been nothing but an angel throughout it all,” he said.
Frazer responded by saying: “Aww, that’s nice…” Is it Liv? Is it nice? Pretty sure she was throwing daggers at him in her head at this point.
Frazer then revealed that they’re “hanging in there” and are not calling it quits, despite the stories circulating in the media.
“We’re staying together. We’ve got a lot of healing to do, but ultimately, we love each other and it’s not worth throwing it away,” she said.
The video, which was posted on Frazer’s Instagram page was captioned, “Appreciating everyone’s love and support during this hard time. Lots of love, Liv and Jack xx.”
It comes after the MAFS bride released a statement on her Instagram story, saying she’s “heartbroken” and “so embarrassed”.
“Hi everyone. Thank you so much for the love and support during this horrendous time,” she began.
“I’ve seen so many beautiful messages and people checking and I just wanted to let you know that although I’m so heartbroken and so embarrassed, I am okay.”
She added: “Your kindness means everything right now. I will be focusing on healing from this privately.”
Whatever your opinion of Frazer is, no one deserves to be betrayed by someone they trust the most. Here’s to hoping the two of them can work things out.
