How to Watch Ubisoft Forward In Australia (and Every Game That’s Rumoured to Be Announced)
Ubisoft Forward is the studio’s annual livestream to announce all of its upcoming games, and the next one is locked in for September 10. We’re expecting announcements on Ubisoft’s upcoming games like Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and the long-awaited pirate game Skull and Bones, as well as a special Assassin’s Creed showcase to celebrate the series’ 15th anniversary and give us a sneak peek at the future of the franchise.
A report by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier claims that Ubisoft will be announcing multiple new Assassin’s Creed games at the showcase — but before we get into that, let’s sort out the Ubisoft Forward Australian times for everyone watching down under.
Ubisoft Forward Australian Times
- AEST (ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD, TAS): Sunday, September 11 at 5 am
- ACST (NT, SA): Sunday, September 11 at 4.30 am
- AWST (WA): Sunday, September 11 at 3 am
Where to Watch Ubisoft Forward In Australia
The showcase will be broadcast live on YouTube, Twitch and the Ubisoft website. Viewers on the Ubisoft website will have the option to watch the livestream with multiple language and accessibility options.
What Games Will Be Announced at Ubisoft Forward?
There’ll be plenty of surprises on the day, but for now, we know a few games that are confirmed for the livestream.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Thanks to a sneaky leak, we now know the name of the next Assassin’s Creed game. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will star a young Basim Ibn Ishaq and the screenshot Ubisoft used to confirm the game sure makes it look like it’s set in Baghdad. If the rumours are true, Mirage will be much smaller than the two most recent Assassin’s Creed games Odyssey and Valhalla, almost like a return to basics. We’ll have to wait until the livestream to find out more.
Mario + Rabbids Spark of Hope
The sequel to the bizarre yet wonderful Mario + Rabbids is almost here! Ahead of the October 20 release date, Ubisoft will reveal more about Sparks of Hope during the livestream, potentially including the new, much smoother gameplay and Bowser’s turn to the good guys’ team.
Skull and Bones
Ubisoft’s pirate game sets itself apart from similar games (namely Sea of Thieves) by allowing you to customise your ship and crew. We’ll find out more about Skull and Bones during the livestream, although we’re still not sure what we’ll find out. Something to look forward to!
Even More Assassin’s Creed Games
These are pure speculation at this point, but according to Schreier’s report, Ubisoft will be announcing three additional Assassin’s Creed games during the livestream. If the rumours are true, this is what we’re getting:
- A Feudal Japan Assassin’s Creed game
- A mobile Assassin’s Creed game
- An Assassin’s Creed game about the witch trials during the Holy Roman Empire
