The Real Love Boat: Will Chris Get to Go on His Dream First Date?

If you love love, if you love dating shows on boats, if you love sexy singles and glam European destinations, then buckle up babes!

Where’s Bachie gone? No one knows. Instead, 10 is giving us a brand new dating show that’s essentially Love Island on a boat, and we’re not mad about it.

The Real Love Boat — inspired by the 1976 sitcom — takes place aboard the Princess Cruises ship, Regal Princess, and will see 20 Australian singles travel the seas, looking for love.

Destination dates and surprise singles will test the couples’ compatibility and chemistry. Like the beloved original scripted series, The Love Boat, the indispensable crew members will play pivotal roles in the matchmaking and navigation of the romantic (and sometimes turbulent) waters ahead.

Arrigo, our eligible Aussies will be guided through the murky waters of love as they explore Spain, Greece, France, Italy, Turkey and Montenegro.

One of the babes embarking on this cruise for love, is 29-year-old Chris Antos, a real estate agency director from Canberra.

Chris identifies as bisexual, and he finds that he struggles to put himself out there, as he is worried about how a potential partner will take this information. To avoid the possible rejection, he says he just doesn’t try. Noooo, Chris!

“I would love to take my partner on a dream date in Sydney,” says Chris in a press statement, when describing his dream date.

“I would arrive in a limo to come and pick them up for lunch, with chilled champagne waiting for us in the back. We would go to a beautiful French restaurant, such as Hubert or Felix.”

Sounds pretty damn good so far… call me, Chris?

“Following that we could go for some refreshing cocktails in Barangaroo and finish the date at Gordon’s Bay to watch the sunset and end the day with a kiss.”

Dayyyyum. So an entire Hallmark movie is this man’s idea of the perfect first date? Ladies and gentlemen, you’ve been sleeping on this dreamboat.

Chris also shares that he has a passion for travel, and is looking for someone to help him be the best version of himself, and wants to enjoy life with him.

He sounds like a total catch, TBH.
