Kanye “Ye” West is no stranger to dividing the Internet over some of his controversial acts, but his latest one really has us scratching our heads.

The American rapper — who only just finalised his divorce to Kim Kardashian in November 2022 — has a new Aussie “wife”. TMZ broke the news on January 13 that West secretly wed Melbourne woman Bianca Censori, who is head of architecture for West’s fashion brand Yeezy.

So, Who Is Bianca Censori?

It’s the question on so many lips – but who exactly is the Aussie dominating headlines? 

The 27-year-old hails from Melbourne but relocated to Los Angeles to be an ‘architectural designer’ at Kayne’s fashion label Yeezy in November 2020. 

According to her LinkedIn profile, Censori completed a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Melbourne and a masters degree, before taking a job as a student architect at Melbourne’s DP Toscano Architects. She then started her new role at Yeezy Architecture in 2020.

Speaking with Vogue Australia in June 2022, Censori opened up about what it was like splitting her time between two places.

“The pandemic was the first time in a long time a lot of Australian creatives were brought back to one place,” she told Vogue. “Melbourne felt like this melting pot of global creativity. People began to cross disciplines and collaborate in ways I hadn’t experienced before.”

Are Kayne West and Bianca Censori Actually Married?

The rapper, who is famous for his various flings and rebounds, including “Uncut Gems” muse Julia Fox in 2021, has seemingly taken the next step in his secret relationship. According to TMZ, he and his Aussie employee wed at “some sort of wedding ceremony”, but have yet to file a marriage certificate. 

However, recent paparazzi shots show West wearing a wedding ring when he and Censori arrived at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills. The Daily Mail also reported West and Censori honeymooned at a “posh resort” in Utah last week.

How Long Have Kanye West and Bianca Censori Been Together?

While everyone is trying to wrap their heads around the supposed newlyweds, it’s still unclear when the pair got romantically involved but, of course, there are rumours swirling. 

West briefly released a song titled “Censori Overload” in December 2022 — enigmatically revealing his relationship.

The single includes the lyric: “And the Bible said, ‘I can’t have any more sex till marriage’,” which leaves a lingering thought… Did they just get married to have sex? And was this wedding “ceremony” a loophole in the Bible’s strict no-sexy policy?
