Salma Hayek and Daughter Valentina Pose in Matching Red Gowns at the Oscars

Salma Hayek turned the 2023 Oscars into a glamorous mother-daughter date night. On March 12, the “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” actor posed on the star-studded red carpet with 15-year-old Valentina Paloma Pinault by her side. Her husband François-Henri Pinault and his two other children were not in attendance.

For the ceremony at the Dolby Theatre, where Hayek is presenting an award, the stylish pair matched in striking red gowns. Hayek wore a halter sequin number with a fringe train, while Pinault stunned in a strapless A-line dress. The two smiled for cameras alongside Pedro Pascal and Amazon Studios executive Javiera Balmaceda ahead of the show.

This isn’t the first time Hayek has turned a red carpet into a family affair: Recently, at Milan Fashion Week in February, the actor attended the Gucci show with François-Henri, Valentina, and Mathilde, her husband’s daughter with ex-wife Dorothée Lepère. The four coordinated in matching blue and black outfits at the event. Valentina, who’s spoken about following in her mom’s footsteps as an aspiring actor and director, also joined Hayek on the cover of Vogue Mexico in May 2022.
