Lisa Kudrow Was Particularly Excited About this Friends Reunion Guest Star

Friends: The Reunion will land on our screens on Thursday, May 27 only on BINGE and suffice to say, we have been waiting for this our whole lives (at least, that’s what it feels like.)

The special will see Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow return to the sound stage where they filmed the iconic series to reminisce about their time together and what it was like to say goodbye. The team also sit down for some table reads as they revisit classic episodes such as The One Where Everyone Finds Out. 

In addition to performers who appeared as guest stars in the hit series such as Reese Witherspoon, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler and Maggie Wheeler, the special will also see A-listers such as Lady Gaga, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Kit Harington, Mindy Kaling and Malala Yousafzai stop by to chat about how Friends impacted them.

Speaking to the New York Post, Lisa Kudrow revealed that she was especially pumped about one guest star in particular.

“I was like, ‘Wait, that’s Justin Bieber. Right? Would he be here? Is he here? He’s really here; that’s Justin Bieber!” said Kudrow.

“That was kind of exciting. I’m throwing in a ‘kind of’ so that I seem a little cooler. It was exciting. I don’t get excited about meeting people — but Justin Bieber, he’s exciting.”

We couldn’t agree more, Lisa!

Kudrow also confessed to the New York Post how filming the special had caused more than a few (happy) tears.

“It was every emotion,” she said. “It was a lot of laughing and then real blubbering – which, I don’t know if that will be in there, but the puffy eyes are in there, so that’s good. It was an emotionally exhausting and great few days.”

May 27th cannot come soon enough!
