Matt Bomer and his husband, Simon Halls, have a house full of boys. The “Fellow Travelers” actor and Hollywood publicist share three sons: Kit and twins Henry and Walker, all born via surrogacy and all of whom love to tag along with their famous dads to their events. Previously, the boys have shown up to high-profile red carpets alongside Bomer. The family of five most recently attended Carrie Fisher’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on May 4.

While Bomer and Halls’s kids have stepped into the spotlight with them every now and then, the couple – who privately wed in 2011 – are in no rush to see their boys explore fame on their own. “I don’t want anybody out on stage any time soon,” Bomer told People back in 2015. “I want them to have a nice, normal childhood.”

More importantly, the “Maestro” actor and his husband want their sons to enjoy being teens for as long as they can before jumping into show business, which means helping them cultivate their own creativity. “[We go] to art museums [and read] art books. We’ve got a lot of photography books and art books,” Halls shared with People, while Bomer added, “We try to select schools for them over the course of their lives that encourage them.”
