Celebrity beauty brands are *pretty* common these days. Just a few of the celebs who have their names on a beauty brand include Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Kylie Jenner, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Yachty and even Kris Jenner. And now, Ariana Grande is joining the ranks of the beauty mogul.
According to Trendmood, Grande has filed a trademark for her own line of beauty products, which is said to include products like skincare, body care, mists, perfumes, shower gels and bath gels. This exciting news comes only days after it was released that Harry Styles had also filed trademark documents for his own beauty line, which will sell “perfume and cosmetics”.
In a seriously iconic move from Grande, her beauty line is rumoured to be called God Is a Woman, which is the title of a song that appeared on her 2018 album, Sweetener. The track created quite a stir at the time of release, with the film clip for the single showing a half-naked Grande covered in paint and floating in a purple pool of liquid.
The film clip for God Is a Woman even inspired the creation of a Lush bath bomb that allowed fans to create their own lilac moment in the bath. Unsurprisingly, this bath bomb promptly sold out, showing just how much sway Grande’s beauty decisions have in popular culture.
In fact, Grande’s love of the high ponytail is well documented and she has created a movement for the hairstyle, which is synonymous with her. Who can forget Kourtney Kardashian’s Halloween costume from 2018 when Kardashian cosplayed as Grande for the event, wearing a high ponytail, babydoll dress and knee-high boots.
There’s no word on when Grande’s God Is a Woman beauty line might be available for consumers considering the trademark has just been filed but as soon as we have more information, we’ll let you know!
