From Shower Gel to Tinted SPF and Lip Oil: 8 of the Best New Beauty Launches From November

November is officially over and that means a whole bunch of new beauty products have hit the shelves in recent weeks. Each month, we curate a list of the best launches from that month, so you know what’s worth your time and money. November was a busy time for launches, especially in the world of skin and body care.

While every new launch is exciting, these are eight new products that have been a highlight of recent weeks. From long-awaited launches from cult brands (hello, Ultra Violette!), to my new infatuation with a shower gel, these are products I’ll revisit again and again.

Go-To

Go-To Shower Party

Go-To’s latest launch is a shower gel, aptly named Shower Party ($22), and it’s a delight to use. This baby is formulated with oils like sacha inchi seed and sunflower seed as well as calming ingredients including aloe vera and vitamin E to cleanse, soften and soothe skin, while also leaving it feeling hydrated and plump. The subtle scent of pink pepper and patchouli is lovely and isn’t at all overwhelming.

Sephora

Aceology Green Tea Mask

Aceology’s Green Tea Mask ($69) is the antidote to dull and lacklustre skin. The blend of green tea, soybean extract and niacinamide helps to boost radiance and energise tired looking skin. The gel texture of the mask is particularly lovely and it feels soothing on the skin — a winner for when you need a little pick-me-up.

Dr LeWinn's

Dr LeWinn's Intensive Action Caviar Eye Serum

If you’re looking for a hard-working eye product to add to your arsenal, the Dr LeWinn’s Intensive Action Caviar Eye Serum ($79.95) is it. This lightweight gel product is designed to transform the appearance of the eye area with active ingredients. Even after a few days of using, I noticed my under eye area was a lot more hydrated thanks to the addition of hyaluronic acid. Clinical studies found that dark circles are visibly reduced by up to 45 per cent, while brightness is increased by up to 174 per cent. What’s not to love about that?

Naked Sundays

Naked Sundays Glow + Go Hydrating Lip Oil SPF50+

Launched right at the end of November, the Naked Sundays Glow + Go Hydrating Lip Oil SPF50+ ($29.95) deserves a mention. Infused with watermelon oil, raspberry seed oil and tomato extract, this lip oil is designed to hydrate and nourish your lips with ingredients like vitamin C, amino acids and lycopene. The best part about this product is the fact it provides SPF50+ broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB, all while imparting a subtle colour to the lips.

Ultra Violette

Ultra Violette Dream Screen SPF50 Tinted Veil

This month also marked the arrival of Ultra Violette’s Dream Screen SPF50 Tinted Veil ($55). It’s the first makeup offering from the brand, which has gained cult status thanks to its non-greasy and primer-like sunscreens. Dream Screen was no different, with the tinted SPF providing dewy, sheer to medium coverage that looks super natural on the skin.

Emma Lewisham

Emma Lewisham Illuminating Face & Body Oil

A new launch from New Zealand brand Emma Lewisham is always exciting and the Illuminating Face & Body Oil ($88) was everything we wanted and more. This lightweight oil is super nourishing, while also working to restore the skin barrier. The addition of fine minerals add a glow to the skin, which coupled with the cute as heck packaging, is most definitely a winner.

Solbari

Solbari Moisturising SPF50+ Face Sunscreen

Testing out SPF products is always fun and a recent discovery was the Solbari Moisturising SPF50+ Face Sunscreen ($40). As someone with dry skin, the hydrating and nourishing nature of this SPF is a big drawcard. This product sinks into the skin easily, while the addition of vitamin E provides a soothing quality. Add to this to your to try list ASAP.

Skinstitut

Skinstitut Collagen Plus

Skinstitut’s Collagen Plus ($49) was another standout launch this month. This ingestible supplement works from the inside out, helping to improve skin firmness, elasticity and collagen production. I also love that it’s flavourless, which allows me to add it into hot and cold drinks without it disrupting the flavour of my drink.
