Cara Delevingne Puts Her Choppy Bangs and Plunging Neckline Center Stage

Cara Delevingne has already entered her short-hair era, having debuted a stunning bob in April. The star swapped out her trademark long blond hair for a style that effortlessly grazed the tops of her shoulders, yet she’s managed to reinvent her look yet again by adding wispy bangs. Sporting a shorter, shaggier version of the ever-popular “Birkin bangs” that have been a celebrity favorite of late, Delevingne proved her style knows no bounds.

Her outfit was also one to turn heads. Styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, the star took to the red carpet at the annual Parsons Benefit in New York on May 24 in an ultra-plunging jade two-piece set from Balmain’s autumn 2023 ready-to-wear collection. The look was complete with dramatic matching gloves and a larger-than-life diamond brooch at her waist, paired with glistening mirrored-block heels. The open neckline of the blazer was accentuated as the model went braless while adding a smoky eye and a sweep of nude lipstick.

Whether you’re someone who prefers short hair for the warmer months (a summer romance, if you will) or a cropped hairstyle all year round, bobs are an easy, low-maintenance look. And there are plenty of variations to keep things fresh, including the “slob,” “Italian bob,” and shaggy bob. Celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Emily Ratajkowski, and Florence Pugh have made it more fashionable than ever to go short.

Delevingne has long been a source of beauty inspo – from her Rimmel days to her meaningful Met Gala look this year – but her choppy fringe may well be our favorite. Keep reading to see more of her striking look.
