By now, you’ve probably seen at least 25 photos of Taylor Swift at the Kansas City Chiefs game making the rounds on your social media feeds. While Swift may be single-handedly responsible for making football cool again with the masses (yeah, we said it), what we’ve really been focused on is her game-day ensembles. Of course, you’d be hard-pressed to miss her red lipstick and equally bright Kansas City Chiefs swag, but there’s one tiny detail you might have missed: her bright red nails.
Swift isn’t the only supportive partner to be seen with game-day nails lately. NFL wives like Ciara have been on top of the trend for years and we have to admire their dedication. Simone Biles, a famous WAG herself, just shared a close-up of her latest manicure for her husband, Jonathan Owens of the Green Bay Packers, which featured mismatched nail art in the team’s signature color (that’s green, for non-football fans). Sure, attending the game is one thing, wearing the team’s colors is another, but getting a fresh manicure specifically to match? That’s true love. (Or the product of a really good stylist, whatever works.)

Biles is the queen of fun manicures, and her latest does not disappoint. The Olympian announced her engagement to Green Bay Packers’ Jonathan Owen in February 2022 and the couple later legally married in April during a courthouse ceremony before jetsetting off to their beach destination wedding. Biles recently shared an Instagram Story showing off a fun mismatched manicure in Packers’ green with the caption, “Forgot to post earlier so a little grown out but….”

Dating rumors of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce first began when Kelce mentioned attending one of Swift’s Eras concerts in July 2022. In September, Swift was spotted at a Kansas City Chiefs game sitting in the same suite as Kelce’s mom. Since then, she’s been seen at numerous games sporting glittery red nail polish. She subsequently caused searches around the polish to skyrocket by 475 percent.

Ciara and her husband, NFL star Russel Wilson, have been married since 2016 and they’ll soon be a family of six as Ciara is pregnant with their third child. (The singer also has a child, Future Zahir, with her ex, rapper Future.) Ciara frequently matches her manicures to her fun game day outfits in support of her husband, who plays for the Denver Broncos.

Hailee Steinfeld's Game Day Nails
Although not yet confirmed, rumors have been swirling that actress Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen have been dating. Recently, Steinfeld was spotted at a Buffalo Bills Game wearing a red white and blue sweatshirt, as well as a fresh red manicure, one of the Bill’s colors.
