This Violet Crumble Shake Is Packed With Glow-Inducing Collagen

A dessert-tasting drink that’s actually good for you? Sounds like the dream, right? It’s a combo The Collagen Co has nailed with its new Violet Crumble Collagen Shake ($79). The powder shake also has green tea extract, 24 vitamins and minerals and more than 29f of protein.

It also has something called MCT oil that’s said to give a quick energy release and enhance cognitive function and mental clarity. The prebiotic fibre in the shake is said to be beneficial for gut bacteria, promoting a healthy digestive system, improving nutrient absorption and enhancing immune function.  

One of the best parts about the shake though is the taste: violet crumble. The distinctive honeycomb- chocolate flavour that will likely bring back memories for your childhood. The flavour comes in another product too: a sleep formula.

The Violet Crumble Collagen Dream Advanced Sleep Formula ($49) has a velvety cocoa base infused with honeycomb. It’s essentially a violet crumble-favoured hot chocolate that promotes a quicker onset of sleep and enhances hair, skin and nails through its collagen peptide infusion. It’s got 5g of collagen per serve and is packed with magnesium, chamomile and zinc.

“Whoever came up with the violet crumble is a genius,” one customer wrote online. “This flavour needs to stay – smells and tastes exactly like it. I’m absolutely loving, loving, loving.” Another added: “It’s violet crumble in a meal”.

The shake’s made by mixing the powder in 350ml of chilled water or, if you’re after a creamier taste, milk. For the sleepy-time hot chocolate, add two scoops (a scooper’s included) of the powder into your mug. Pour about 200-250ml of hot water into the mug and mix well until the powder’s fully dissolved.
