Dove Cameron Looks Like a ’20s Flapper With a Bob and Pencil-Thin Brows

She had it coming! The second season of “Schmigadoon!” is approaching, and Dove Cameron’s dramatic 1920s transformation is complete. On March. 8, the actor and singer revealed a dark chin-grazing bob complete with blunt bangs and pencil-thin eyebrows. The Vaudevillian makeover was a far cry from Cameron’s long red hair, but underneath the stage lighting, Cameron looked right at home. “Blocked brows, absinthe & all that jazz officially coming to your tv april 5th,” she said on Instagram.

The first season of “Schmigadoon!” saw a couple stumble across the magical town, effectively finding themselves trapped in a rendition of the 1947 musical “Brigadoon.” Throughout the episodes, Cameron’s character, Betsy, was rarely seen without her curly blond pigtails and gingham wardrobe. But this time around, the fictional city is called “Schmicago,” inspired by the Broadway musical of a similar name.

Cameron has undergone several hair transformations offscreen, proving herself to be quite the beauty chameleon. Most recently, she dyed her hair dark red in honor of her 27th birthday, but she’s also given different hairstyles a try: For a photoshoot, she wore a bright yellow bob with dip-dye bangs, and we’ve even seen her channel her inner Bettie Page with blunt pin-up bangs. Read on to see her latest makeover and all that jazz.
