EdwardsAndCo’s Jaye Edwards Just Launched a Haircare Range in MECCA — These Are the First Products
You know you’re going to have a good hair day when you’re using products designed by EdwardsAndCo founder Jaye Edwards. Edwards has launched Jaye Haircare, which is now available in 30 MECCA stores across Australia and New Zealand, as well as on the MECCA website.
Edwards partnered with MECCA to launch this exciting haircare line, which has been created with all of his extensive salon experience, knowledge and passion in mind. The range combines science and nature in its formulations and contains botanicals and pure essentials oils with each ingredient hand-selected by Edwards.
The Jaye Haircare line includes three products, all of which were “inspired by my EdwardsAndCo salon clients,” Edwards said. “I want clients to leave my salons looking amazing but I also want to equip them with the tools they need to create beautiful, salon-quality hair at home, too.
“The styling collection is just the beginning. I have some epic products in the pipeline which I can’t wait to share.”
While Edwards released his original product, the Dry Texture Spray, in 2019 as a salon-exclusive, he has added two brand new babies to the line. Here is a breakdown of the products in the Jaye Haircare line:
Jaye Haircare Dry Texture Spray
Jaye Haircare’s Dry Texture Spray ($49.99) delivers texture to your hair in seconds, fighting flat locks. In fact, you can consider this formula “next day hair in a bottle” as it helps inject life into your hair while also the addition of ingredients like Australian native white cypress leaf and tea tree extract work to promote healthy, strong hair and moisturise and protect the scalp.
Jaye Haircare De-Frizz + Fatten Cream
Struggling to contain your frizzy flyaways? Jaye Haircare’s De-Frizz + Fatten Cream ($49.99) is designed to leave hair smoothed and softened, while promoting moisture retention. The addition of hydrolysed rice protein helps to increase hair volume by up to 32 percent while also adding natural shine and flexibility. While the cream itself is fairly thick, it doesn’t weigh hair down or leave it feeling flat.
Jaye Haircare Volumising Sea Mist
With the help of Jaye Haircare’s Volumising Sea Mist ($39.99), beachy waves are easy to achieve. This humidity-resistant formula contains rose water, to promote moisture retention, hydrolysed corn starch, to absorb excess oil and magnesium sulphate, which acts a natural curl booster that also nourishes the scalp. Think of this product as the easiest way to achieve natural waves without taking a dip in the ocean!
