The red carpet for the 2021 Emmy Awards did not disappoint. Statement sleeves, black gowns and bold colours dominated the red carpet, with our favourite TV stars bringing their all after 18 months of little-to-no fashion events.
Another standout moment of this awards show was the beauty, specifically the manicures. Cynthia Erivo, Mj Rodriguez and Emma Corrin went to town with their nail art and the result was seriously eye-catching. While we love a good hair and makeup moment, there’s nothing like an over-the-top mani and these were the best from this year’s Emmys.

Pose star Mj Rodriguez might have chosen a subtle colour for her nails, but the length and shape still caught our attention. This mani strikes the perfect balance of pared back and making a statement.

The Crown’s Emma Corrin also opted for a seriously spiked set of claws but they decided to go with a darker shade. The sharp, pointed style and the black colour paired perfectly with Corrin’s pale yellow dress.

Taraji P. Henson’s manicure was completed by celebrity manicurist Temeka Jackson, who choose a “rich wine colour”. The manicure also featured ruby red coloured crystals for an extra pop of texture and colour.
