Frank Body's Face Oil Will Make Your Skin Hydrated But Not Oily

You probably know Australian skincare brand Frank Body for its Original Coffee Scrub (how is it ten years old?!), but did you know it offers a range of products to target all kinds of skin concerns? It’s got everything from a Brightening Body Wash and Charcoal Face Cleanser to a Collagen Boost Serum and Super Ceramide Night Cream.

The latest product to join the range is a Super Ceramide Barrier Oil ($30), a lightweight face oil that helps to improve skin barrier defence, reduce water loss and soothe skin. The product works to balance oil in the skin to support dry, sensitised and breakout-prone skin.

It’s made with ceramides, which bind cells together to reduce water loss and keep skin plump, and prickly pear oil, which is rich in Vitamin E and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s also got squalene, which is found in olives and is a natural antioxidant and super hydrator, and Kakadu plum extract, the world’s richest source of Vitamin C, that helps slow signs of ageing and brightens skin.

The oil can be used in the morning or night, or both, and should be applied to dry skin. Mix it with a moisturiser (Frank Body has a Super Ceramide Night Cream) for a fatty acid boost.
