Kristin Davis is getting real about cosmetic enhancements. In a recent interview with The Telegraph, the “And Just Like That” star opened up about her less-than-favorable experience with injectables like dermal filler.
“I’ve had to get them dissolved, and I’ve been ridiculed relentlessly,” she told the publication. “And I have shed tears about it. It’s very stressful.” The actor went on to say that she’s found it hard to accept looking older amid unrealistic societal pressures for women to remain their youth as they age. “It’s a challenge to remember that you don’t have to look like that,” she said. “The internet wants you to – but they also don’t want you to. They’re very conflicted.” Toward the end of the interview, Davis revealed that she has a much more laid-back attitude regarding cosmetic enhancements nowadays. “It’s whatever. I can’t keep it up,” the actress said. “I don’t have time.”
Davis is the latest on a long list of celebrities who have opened up about their journey with injectables and plastic surgery procedures. People like Chrissy Teigen and Khloé Kardashian have revealed that they got buccal fat removal and rhinoplasty, respectively, and musician Joe Jonas has shared that he gets Xeomin injections an alternative to Botox. Whatever your stance is on cosmetic enhancements, if there’s one thing that we can all learn from celebrities, it’s that your choice to partake in them should be yours and yours alone.
