The 2022 Met Gala theme is “Gilded Glamour”, and Lizzo certainly came dressed for the occasion. The “About Damn Time” singer hit the red carpet in a black Thom Browne gown with black and gold embroidery. Her hair was styled in natural curls with laid edges in a finger-wave pattern. Her nails matched the detailing on her ensemble with a black base nail polish colour and extra-long gold corkscrews-like extensions on each finger.
“I’m going to be opening everybody’s wine tonight,” Lizzo said in her red carpet interview about her manicure. The singer’s go-to nail artist Eri Ishizu created the look for the big night, while her long-time hairstylist, Shelby Swain, did her hair.
