Every Must-Have Buy From MECCA’s 2023 Beauty Election Winners

Every year, MECCA’s Beauty Election is a great way to narrow down the seemingly endless array of beauty products and brands on offer. For the past 15 years, the election has let the beauty community in Australia and New Zealand vote for a select period on their favourite products.

This year, the election comprised 23 categories spanning makeup, skincare, fragrance, hair and body. So, which products made the cut?

Well, Charlotte Tilbury featured twice on the list, with its Hollywood Flawless Filter ($70) winning for The Instant Glow-Up and its Charlotte’s Magic Cream ($149) winning for Makeup Prep That Goes the Distance. NARS also claimed two spots, with its Powermatte Lipstick ($56), winning for The Perfect Red Lip and its Light Reflecting Foundation ($86) as The Most Ace Base.

Diptyque also won twice, with its Orphéon Eau De Parfum ($298) as The Gift on Everyone’s List and Figuier Candle ($105) as The Home Scent That Stays With You.

For the second year in a row, MECCA’s own MECCA Cosmetica brand SPF won for best sunscreen. Last year, its To Save Body SPF50+ Hydrating Sunscreen ($40) won, and this year, its To Save Face SPF50+ Brightening Sun Serum won.
