2020 Natural Hair Trend: Knotless Box Braids
Knotless box braids were everywhere last year, and we’re not expecting the style’s popularity to die down anytime soon. The difference between these and regular box braids is that knotless braids don’t include the small knot that sits at the root of the scalp; instead, synthetic braiding hair is added to the braids using a feed-in technique that allows each braid to feel lighter on one’s scalp. Essentially, they’ve grown in popularity because they cause less tension and don’t put as much of a strain on the scalp and edges as regular box braids.

2020 Natural Hair Trend: Tapered Cuts
A tapered haircut is a cut that’s normally longer in the front and shorter on the sides and the back of the head. It’s the perfect style to consider for anyone who’s tempted to get a cut that’s short enough to require less maintenance but still has enough length to be versatile.
