The 2024 Paris Olympics is officially underway, and everyone, from athletes to fans, is celebrating their excitement for the big event in more ways than one. Some have memorialized the experience with tattoos of the Olympics logo, like in the case of Simone Biles, DeAnna Price, and Jordan Chiles, who have competed in the Games past and current. Others have shown their pride in less permanent ways via Olympics-themed nail art – and some of the designs are gold medal worthy.

Most of the Olympics nail art we’ve come across feature the five interconnected rings – in the colors red, blue, green, black, and yellow – while others consist of tiny portraits of gymnasts and other competitors. This is true with competitors and fans alike. In 2020, for example, Team USA canoeist Nevin Harrison wore one of the manicures while competing in Tokyo, and gymnast Sunisa Lee won a gold medal wearing Games-inspired acrylics.

This year we’ve seen a lot of similar manicures, although some Olympians, like Simone Biles, have opted for nail designs that are a little less on the nose. (Keep scrolling to see what we mean.) If you want to drool over some fun nail art, get in the Team U-S-A spirit with our favorite Olympics manicures ahead.
