- The red carpet saw plenty of show-stopping beauty looks from your favorite celebrities and their respective glam teams.
- These are just a few of the best beauty looks at the 2022 PCAs.
It’s hard to believe that award show season is here once again. Kicking off with the 2022 People’s Choice Awards on Dec. 6, we’re in for an exciting new batch of swoon-worthy hair, makeup, and nail looks. In attendance at the big event include Lizzo, Selena Gomez, Harry Styles, and more A listers, all but guaranteeing we’re in for a treat.
As far as TV and film nominations go, “Nope,” “Bullet Train,” “Abbott Elementary,” “Stranger Things,” and more are up for awards this season. For music, you have Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift, to name just a few. Not to mention, Ryan Reynolds is receiving the People’s Icon Award, Lizzo is receiving the People’s Champion Award, and Shania Twain is being honored with the Music Icon Award. As we said, it’s going to be a big night.
If last year’s show is anything to go by, the 2022 PCAs are also sure to bring some impressive beauty moments. For the 2021 event, Becky G matched her V-cut french manicure to her yellow cutout dress; Sarah Hyland debuted a bixie haircut, majorly chopping her hair; Jojo Siwa put her twist on a bubble braid; and Christina Aguilera brought back her iconic 2000s hairstyle, making us feel oh so nostalgic. The standout beauty trend of the night was undoubtedly french manicures, worn by Leslie Jones, Mindy Kaling, Christine Quinn, Porsha Williams, Siwa, and, as previously mentioned, Becky G.
This year, Chrishell Stause wore a Pamela Anderson-inspired messy bun, Carmen Electra showed up in an “invisible” french manicure, and Laverne Cox caught our eye in supermodel nails with chrome accents down the center. And that’s only just the beginning. Ahead, we’ve rounded up a few of the best beauty moments from the People’s Choice Awards 2022 that you won’t want to miss.
