Yes, you did read that headline correctly. In what is possibly the definition of a dream job, Australian online beauty retailer RY (Recreate Yourself) is currently on the hunt for someone to test out TikTok beauty trends and review new product launches. Where do we sign up?!
The role, which comes with the title ‘TikTok Trend Tester’, is a work-from-home position that includes a pretty sweet salary. The successful candidate will receive a voucher worth $150 to spend at RY as well as all the latest TikTok trending beauty products to try.
So, while this isn’t a legitimate long-term job, it is a competition that is asking beauty lovers to try out the products, trends and beauty hacks that are currently going viral on TikTok and provide a review. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to us!
Think you might be the right person? Well, the job description reads as follows: “Fancy yourself the next Huda Kattan, Manny Gutierrez or Nikkie de Jager? Have you tried the ‘instant facelift’ concealer trick? Have you tried the trend of soap brows? Do you know NYX Professional Cosmetics from The Ordinary?

One winner will be chosen and asked to complete some of their reviews within 14 days.
