The R&B singer stepped out at Paris Fashion Week with neon-orange hair that shone bright as he sat front row at the Wales Bonner runway show on Jan. 17. The dye job had a subtle ombré effect, with a darker red orange on top blending into a lighter creamsicle toward the nape of his neck. The switch-up came just a few days after he celebrated Mary J. Blige’s 52nd birthday in New York City with his usual dark-brown hair color.
This technically isn’t the first time Usher has dabbled in orange hair: he first debuted a similarly fiery hue in November and rotated through lighter shades bordering on blond during his Las Vegas residency in late 2022. The Grammy winner’s latest transformation has drummed up divided reactions among fans, with some likening the color to Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. To that comparison, we say: take Cheetos out of the equation and just leave it at “Flamin’ Hot.”
