There is nothing quite like leaning in head first to your new hyperfixation. One moment things are normal. The next your entire life has been swallowed up by this new thing you discovered and you won’t (and shouldn’t!) apologise for it. And, if you’re anything like us, that new hyperfixation is the AFLW.
After watching Aussie women kill it in literally every sport in recent weeks — from the pool to the skatepark — it’s time to focus our attention to local footy fields where teams of hometown heroes will go head-to-head in the 2024 NAB AFLW season.
The first step of any hyperfixation? A social media deep dive, of course.
Before the 2024 NAB AFLW season kicks off at the end of August, we’ve rounded up some of the must follow social media accounts belonging to AFLW players. They’re all great players, but their social media presence really helps us get to know them on and off the field—with skits, BTS content and even DJ mixes.
After you’ve done your AFLW following spree, why not head down and support your new faves at a game? Tickets are just $15 and under 18s are free!
For more information and tickets head to the AFLW website.
