“I Want to Prove Them Wrong”: Anna Heinrich is Not Holding Back on SAS Australia
TV personality and star of The Bachelor Anna Heinrich has broken down in tears in a sneak peek of the upcoming season of SAS Australia. The reality TV show is known for its intensity and the celebrities that choose to take part are known to face extreme amounts of pressure.
Anna, who welcomed a daughter with Tim Robards in 2020, is seen tearing up as she reveals the one thing she wants to pass on to her little girl, Elle.
“If I tell her that she can do something, I want to believe it in myself,” she says. “I would love to say I can do it. I don’t want to give up.”
The upcoming season of SAS Australia is set to premiere in February and it seems Anna is determined to prove herself.
Seen escaping a car boot, jumping from a speed boat into a helicopter and being set on fire, Australia is going to see what the lawyer is truly made of.
“I don’t think the public will think I will go very far in this,” she says. “I want to prove them wrong.”
Anna is one of 17 Aussie celebs who have chosen to take part in the show this year, which sees the recruits undertake a number of physical and psychological tests from the real SAS selection process.
Completely cut off from the outside world away from their plushy lifestyles, no allowances will be made for their celeb status or gender.
Returning to guide the recruits is Chief Instructor Ant Middleton and Directing Staff Ollie Ollerton. Joining them for the very first time will be retired US Navy SEAL Clint Emerson and former British Special Forces soldier Dean Stott.
From interrogation to sleep deprivation, there is no way the recruits could prepare for what they’re about to face. Whether Anna will have it in her to push right to the end is yet to be seen, but we have full faith in her.
SAS Australia premieres in February on Channel 7 and 7plus.
