Halloween hasn’t arrived yet, but Ariana Grande and Kelly Clarkson are already getting into the holiday spirit. On Oct. 15, Clarkson released a new holiday album titled When Christmas Comes Around. The 15-track LP features covers of classic Christmas tunes, including “Last Christmas” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” but fans are even more excited about Clarkson’s festive duet with Grande. On “Santa, Can You Hear Me?,” the Grammy-winning divas sing, “I don’t need a thing / I sent a letter to you, ooh, ooh / On how to make my dreams come true, oh-woah / What I want for Christmas / Hasn’t come and I been so blue / Tell me what can I do?” It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas morning.
When Christmas Comes Around marks Clarkson’s first holiday album since 2013’s Wrapped In Red, which featured several remakes, from “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” to “Silent Night,” a dazzling duet with country music icons Reba Entire and Trisha Yearwood. In case you missed it, Grande recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she gushed about collaborating with Demi Lovato and joining The Voice as a judge. Grande and Clarkson also played a fun game of “Guess That Famous Voice.” Watch the full interview below.
