Former AFL player David Zaharakis is ready to tackle a new challenge: “Australian Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains“. Despite being regarded as a hero by many AFL fans, he understands that not everyone may share that view. In his previous career, he’s experienced both hero and villain labels, having been the subject of adoration and disapproval from opposing teams’ supporters. Nevertheless, he’s excited about the opportunity to compete in a game he’s been watching since he was 12.
Zaharakis believes that his physical prowess and competitive spirit make him an excellent fit for the show, which he describes as having “all the elements” that he loves, from the physical challenges to the strategy involved. He’s determined to go all the way and win the game, even if it means crossing some lines.
“Just because I am a Hero, doesn’t mean I am not here to play hard,” Zaharakis said. “I think if you watch every superhero comic or movie, the Hero always comes out on top. But in the game of Survivor, I don’t think there is a line I am not willing to cross I think you must cross lines to win. I am definitely prepared for that.”
His experience as a professional athlete gives him an advantage in terms of physical fitness and mental toughness. He knows what it takes to compete at the highest level, and he is not afraid to use that experience to his advantage.
Of course, winning the game is no easy feat, and Zaharakis knows that there will be plenty of obstacles along the way. Whether he will ultimately be seen as a hero or a villain by fans of the show remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: he is determined to give it his all and emerge victorious.
If you’re a fan of “Australian Survivor“, be sure to tune in to “Heroes Vs Villains” on 10 and 10 Play on Demand to see how Zaharakis fares in the game.
