Beauty and the Geek is in full swing, and we’ve been loving watching all our Beauties meet their Geeks. It’s one of Australia’s most wholesome dating shows, all about embracing each other’s differences and learning from one another.
One of the Beauties hoping to meet the Geek of her dreams this season is Emily, who is the first to admit she’s the loudest person at every party.
When it comes to her interests and hobbies, Emily is a one-minded kind of gal. In a press statement, she said her favourite thing to do is “tanning, tanning and fake tanning”.
She’s (kind of) kidding. Emily’s also very passionate about health and fitness. She loves the thrill of beating her PBs at the gym, and loves to entertain, especially by cooking for her friends at home.
As a flight attendant, Emily has already visited 56 countries, but now, her next destination is happily ever after (hopefully).
With buckets of confidence and plenty of experience putting others at ease, Emily has a lot to offer a nervous Geek. Still, she’s also keen to learn and grow from the experience, too.
“I want to talk more about my feelings, rather than always keeping things light-hearted,” Emily said. “I want to find someone who can treat me the way I deserve to be treated. I’m looking for love, but if I get great friends out of it, then that’s amazing.”
Emily’s had her heart broken a few times, and the breakups weren’t pretty. Although she’s tried all the apps, she said she usually deletes them after 20 minutes.
Now, she’s hoping to meet a Geek to call her own, someone who’ll treat her well and be a departure from the types of guys she usually dates.
Will Emily meet the Geek of her dreams, or perhaps make some friends for life? Only time will tell!
Until then, Beauty and the Geek airs Sunday at 7pm and continues Monday and Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
