All of the Celebs Who Skipped the Logie Awards This Year

The 62nd TV WEEK Logie Awards has finally kicked off after a two-year hiatus and what a night it’s been so far. The red carpet has just wrapped up and to say it was a glamorous affair would be an understatement.

From stunning gowns to gorgeous beauty looks (Mabel Li took my breath away), the biggest stars of Australian television did not disappoint. Of course, our Gold Logie nominees graced the carpet with their presence, dressed to the nines and ready for their moment.

Melissa Leong, Hamish Blake, Sonia Kruger, Karl Stefanovic, Tom Gleeson, Ray Meagher and Julia Morris — who is also hosting tonight — are all up for the title.

Taking place on the Gold Coast at The Star Entertainment Precinct, the TV WEEK Logie Awards is a chance to not only recognise the best in Australian television, but also where celebs can kick off their shoes and let their hair down.

With performances by Jimmy Barnes and Jessica Mauboy, it’s definitely set to be an entertaining show. Not to mention, this year the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter and the TV WEEK Silver Logie – Most Popular Australian Actor Or Actress in an International Program will be introduced for the very first time. It’s set to be wild, controversial and entertaining and we can’t wait to see how the night plays out.
