Benji Marshall Is the Winner of Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2022!

There you have it, folks, Benji Marshall has been crowned the winner of Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2022. It was a tight race, with Darren McMullen putting up a great fight.

The heartwarming episode saw the two go head-to-head as they tried to raise the most amount of money possible for their chosen charity by hosting a fundraising event. Benji organised a children’s concert starring The Wiggles, and decided to keep the entry free, so those less fortunate could attend.

The decision raised a few eyebrows, with Janin Allis questioning whether he would be able to raise enough money, but it clearly paid off.

Darren, however, took a different approach. Enlisting the help of comedian Carla from Bankstown, the pair planned an auction featuring luxury items and experiences. The journey started off rocky for the TV personality, as he found it difficult to form a guest list, but he overcame all obstacles and put on a great show.

Despite not taking home the crown, Darren’s hard work paid off, and he ended up raising a whopping $172,617 for his charity Feel the Magic, an organisation that helps children deal with grief after experiencing the loss of a loved one.

A great achievement by Darren. It was Benji however that came out on top, after raising $387,105 for his chosen charity, Souths Cares, an independent not-for-profit that works closely with the South Sydney Rabbitohs Football Club. They aim to support disadvantaged, marginalised and Indigenous youth through education and employment.

“Benji, I am delighted to say that you are the winner of Celebrity Apprentice,” Lord Sugar told the NRL legend.

For his hard work, Celebrity Apprentice Australia donated a further $100,000 to Souths Cares, bumping the total amount to $487,105.
