Claire Danes has a lot to celebrate during her night at the Golden Globes on Tuesday, Jan. 10. The occasion marked her first public appearance since news broke on Jan. 9 that she and husband Hugh Dancy are expecting their third child. Danes, who’s nominated at the ceremony for her role in FX’s “Fleishman Is in Trouble,” glowed in a sparkling white dress that showed her small baby bump as she posed on the carpet.
Danes and Dancy are parents to two children: Cyrus, 10, and Rowan, 4. The pair met back in 2006 on the set of the movie “Evening” and married three years later, in 2009. They live primarily in New York’s West Village and are often spotted out and about with their family like average New Yorkers.
This year, Danes’s Globes nomination marks the sixth time she’s been nominated at the ceremony. She’s won a staggering four times before: in 1995 for “My So-Called Life,” in 2011 for the TV movie “Temple Grandin,” and in 2012 and 2013 for “Homeland.”
Both expecting parents have had very busy years. In addition to “Fleishman Is in Trouble,” Danes starred in Apple TV+’s “The Essex Serpent,” which debuted this spring. Meanwhile, Dancy appeared in May’s “Downton Abbey: A New Era,” in an episode of Apple TV+’s anthology series “Roar,” and, as of February, stars as an assistant district attorney on the return of “Law & Order.”
