February is gearing up to be a massive month for reality TV. SAS Australia announced its return, MAFS and Australian Survivor are currently airing and now, Channel 7 have revealed the premiere date for Dancing With The Stars: All Stars.
Fans will be happy to know that they don’t have to wait too long for the reality show’s return, as it’s premiering on February 20.
Starring contestants from previous seasons, this year, Dancing With The Stars will see celebs such as 2006 winner Grant Denyer and 2014 grand finalist Ricki-Lee take a crack at the show for a second time.
Hosted by Daryl Somers and Sonia Kruger, champions from the past 17 seasons plus four wild card entrants, will battle it out on the dance floor as they compete for the coveted mirror ball trophy.
Dancing With The Stars is no walk in the park. Each contestant endures weeks worth of training before they appear in front of judges Todd McKenney, Helen Richey, Paul Mercurio and Mark Wilson.
Joining Grant and Ricki-Lee is Angie Kent, Anthony Koutoufides, Bridie Carter, Cameron Daddo, Courtney Act, David Rodan, Denitrify Hines, Kris Smith, Kylie Gillies, Olympia Valance, Rob Mills and Sam Mac.
“The first season of All Stars was the perfect mix of entertainment, celebrity and fierce competition, proving a stand-out hit with Australian audiences,” said Seven Network Programming Director, Angus Ross.
“We have a fantastic cast ready to hit the dancefloor for season two. With a history of multiple perfect scores in the ranks, it’s going to be a brilliant series.”
Dancing With The Stars: All Stars premieres on February 20 on Channel 7 and 7plus.
