Derek Jeter and wife Hannah Davis Jeter’s home team just grew by one after welcoming their fourth child together! The World Series champion and baseball Hall of Famer announced the exciting news on May 8 in an Instagram post that revealed the couple’s baby, a son, was born three days earlier. “Welcome to the world lil man!!!” Derek captioned his post, which also included their baby boy’s name, Kaius Green Jeter.
In honor of his son’s birth, Derek also changed his Instagram bio to read, “Sleep-deprived father of four.”
Derek and Hannah are already parents to three daughters: Bella Raine, 5; Story Grey, 4; and River Rose, 1. Though the pair, who have been married since 2016, didn’t announce Hannah’s fourth pregnancy, the former New York Yankees baseball player has shared some recent updates about fatherhood. During a Feb. 1 appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Derek opened up about what it’s been like raising his three girls, jokingly telling the late-night talk-show host, “Whoo, pray for me.”
He continued, “Controlled chaos is the best way to put it. It’s school pickups, drop-offs, they do my nails, my toenails, makeup, lipstick. It’s the greatest thing I’ve ever experienced though. My girls, they are the absolute best.”
Later that month, on Feb. 26, Derek posted a sweet photo of him and his daughter Bella at the beach on Instagram, captioned, “How do you stop time??”
