Hold On To Your Beret, Because Netflix Have Announced the Premiere Date for Emily In Paris

Emily In Paris fans listen up! Because we finally have the premiere date and the teaser for the highly awaited second season.

Netflix has announced that our favourite American expat will be returning to our screens just before Christmas, on December 22, 2021.

After watching the preview, it seems Emily is no longer in Paris, instead, she’s holidaying it up in St. Tropez and other locations in the South of France.

And if you haven’t yet watched the show then you have a few months to catch up, but here’s a short summary.

The show follows Emily (Lily Collins), an ambitious marketing executive from Chicago, who finds herself working in Paris for a luxury marketing company.

She’s responsible for turning around their social media and providing an American take on things while navigating through her new life in Paris.

Seems a bit farfetched? Well, that’s because it is. The show is a total fantasy, similar to how Carrie Bradshaw was able to dress in designer labels while writing one column a week.

But that’s what makes the show so successful, it lets us live the Parisian dream that we’ve always wanted.

If it reminds you a little of Sex and the City, it’s because Darren Star, the man behind the hit show is also the one who created Emily In Paris

Season One went on to land an Emmy and a Golden Globe nomination and was in Netflix’s top 10 in its very first week.

Oh, and if you love fashion then you’re going to enjoy seeing Emily’s eclectic outfits because no dream is complete without a killer wardrobe.
