Prepare For More Alfie in “Emily in Paris” Season 3

Upon its release in 2020, Netflix’s “Emily in Paris” officially shook the internet and broke records on the platform. Just one month after the show hit the streamer, “Emily in Paris” reached 58 million people and became Netflix’s “most popular comedy series of 2020,” according to Variety. The series, brought to viewers by “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Sex and the City” creator Darren Star, centres on Emily Cooper, an adventurous and ambitious young woman who moves to Paris for a job opportunity and finds love and friendships along the way.

“Emily in Paris” is so popular and beloved by audiences that Netflix renewed the series for not one but two more seasons earlier this year. Since the wrap of season two in December 2021, fans have already been eager to see where Emily’s next adventure lies in the upcoming season. What Will "Emily in Paris" Season 3 Be About?

The end of “Emily in Paris” season two left just about every viewer on the edge of their seat with a major cliffhanger. By the season two finale, Emily is torn about her future in two areas: work and love. Following the resignation of Emily’s boss, Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Emily receives an invitation from her former boss to join her at her new firm in Chicago. On top of having to choose between the two cities, Emily also has to choose if she wants to pursue a long-distance relationship with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), who is returning to London, or remain single after Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) resumes his relationship with Camille (Camille Razat).

The future of Emily’s work and love interest(s) will be explored in season three of the show, along with the evolving storylines of fan favorites Mindy, Camille, Gabriel, Alfie, and Sylvie.

Where Will "Emily in Paris" Season 3 Take Place?

At the end of season two, Emily’s future in Paris is up in the air, as she’s forced to decide to take on a new job opportunity back in the United States or stay in Paris. While there are no details about any change of location for Emily, “Emily in Pairs” actor Lily Collins gave her opinion about a change of scenery for her character in a March 2022 interview with Jimmy Fallon. “Honestly, I would go all over the world with it, if I could,” Collins said. “But the one thing is, like, I just want to go to streets where you can wear flats — because wearing heels, I mean, you wouldn’t think how painful that can be in Paris.” Time will only tell where Emily’s next adventure is!
