If you’re anything like us, you’ve been eagerly counting down the days for Emily in Paris Season 4. And, let’s be honest, you probably binge-watched the first five episodes in one sitting — guilty as charged. But we need to talk about that ending of episode five. Seriously, our jaws hit the floor.
The show’s love triangle between Emily (Lily Collins), and the stylish French couple Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Camille (Camille Razat) has kept us hooked from the start. After Emily and Gabriel finally confessed their feelings at the end of Season 3, Camille’s unexpected pregnancy and her secret romance with artist Sofia (Melia Kreiling) threw a major wrench into their relationship.

Emily In Paris Season 4: What’s Going On?
Season 4 seemed like it might bring some clarity and a long-awaited relationship between Emily and Gabriel. Camille decided to follow her heart and be with Sofia (who moved from Athens to Paris for her) while still prepping for co-parenting with Gabriel. Meanwhile, Emily ends her relationship with her British boyfriend Alfie to finally go for Gabriel after all that simmering tension. Everything seemed to be falling into place — so naturally, we knew something big was coming to shake things up.
As always, true love isn’t exactly smooth sailing. Sofia and Camille are crashing at Gabriel’s place while searching for their own apartment, leaving Gabriel and Emily with zero privacy — especially since Emily’s best friend Mindy (Ashley Park) is also crashing there. This cramped living situation not only puts everyone on top of each other but also underlines the unresolved issues between Camille and Gabriel, who insists they’ll always be family, baby or not. Understandably, Emily and Sofia are feeling uneasy about this setup.
When Sofia and Camille finally find their own place — coincidentally in the same building as Emily and Gabriel— it seems like things might settle down. But during a shopping trip for their new home, Sofia breaks up with Camille, confessing that she never intended to move to Paris and was only caught up in her feelings. She heads back to Athens, leaving the door open for Camille to join her if she wants. And honestly, we’re hoping she does.
Camille’s heartbreak, made even worse by Emily and Gabriel’s blossoming romance, takes a dramatic turn when she finds out at the doctor’s office that her pregnancy test was a false positive — she was never actually pregnant. Cut to Camille smoking while filling in her friends at a French restaurant. Now the burning question is: when will she tell Gabriel?
Camille’s Big Secret
By the end of Part 1, Camille decides to keep this revelation a secret, fearing she might lose Gabriel too. And, honestly, we’re fuming. Camille’s called off her wedding, had an affair with Sofia, ruined Emily and Alfie’s relationship, and now she’s hiding this major news? It’s a hot mess.
So, as Camille’s big secret hangs in the balance, the big question remains: How long can she keep this from Gabriel, and what will happen to her friendships with Emily and Sofia? With Part 2 of Season 4 dropping on September 12 on Netflix, we’re on the edge of our seats, eagerly waiting to see how it all unfolds.
