If you thought Emily Cooper’s life in Paris was complicated, just wait until you see what she’s up to in Rome. Season 4 Part 2 of Emily in Paris is almost here, and the new trailer has us all buzzing with excitement — and maybe a little anxiety — about what’s coming next for our favourite marketing maven.
Emily in Paris Season 4, Part 2: What to Expect
In the latest trailer, Emily’s best friend, Mindy (Ashley Park), urges her to embrace spontaneity: “For once do something spontaneous and reckless and un-Emily. Just have an adventure.” This advice seems to be the catalyst for Emily’s bold decision to jet off to Rome, leaving behind her usual Parisian routine. And if the trailer is any indication, Emily’s time in Rome is filled with romance, culture, and, of course, a new potential love interest.
Cue the stunning scenes of Rome, where Emily’s living her best life — sipping Aperol spritzes, tossing coins into the Trevi Fountain, and getting cosy with a handsome new Italian love interest, Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini). The trailer shows them zipping around on a Vespa, and honestly, could this be any more romantic? It’s also giving Lizzie McGuire vibes. Mindy doesn’t miss a beat, teasing Emily, “So now you’ve been with a French guy, a British guy, and now an Italian? You’re really stamping your passport, huh?”

But it’s not all gelato and Aperol spritzes for Emily. The trailer hints at unresolved tension between Emily and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), the dreamy chef who, in a cliffhanger from Season 4 Part 1, confessed his love for her. Gabriel’s relationship with his ex, Camille (Camille Razat), looms large, bringing with it secrets that threaten to disrupt everything.
As if that wasn’t enough, Emily’s professional life is also in flux. A new American colleague at work and the pressures of helping Gabriel achieve his Michelin star dream add even more layers to her already full plate.
“It’s not the first time you’ve mixed business with pleasure,” quips Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulie), Emily’s no-nonsense boss. “You’re actually quite good at it.” This line from the trailer suggests that Emily’s entanglements, both romantic and professional, are far from over.

A Stylish Roman Holiday
Fashion-wise, Emily is serving some serious Roman Holiday vibes. Think A-line skirts, silk scarves, and all the Audrey Hepburn-esque elegance you could dream of. Whether she’s savouring the local cuisine or simply soaking up the Italian sun, Emily’s style game is on point.
But it’s not all just fun and fashion.
“I really needed this. A break from work, Paris, everything,” Emily confides to Marcello. But as always, Emily’s journey is about more than just a change of scenery. The trailer ends with Marcello asking the question that’s bound to keep fans guessing: Does Emily prefer Rome or Paris? The answer might just be the key to where her heart truly lies.
We’ll have to wait until Thursday, September 12, to find out when Part 2 drops on Netflix. Until then, grab your favourite spritz and get ready for what’s shaping up to be one of Emily’s most unpredictable adventures yet. If Part 1 was any indication, we’re in for a wild ride!
