This popular reality show has become a massive hit in Australia, and Channel 7 and 7plus brought it back for another season of love, laughter, and tears. With a whopping nine weddings, five long-term relationships, and 25 babies produced over the years, it’s clear that this show knows a thing or two about matchmaking.
Hosts Samantha Armytage and Natalie Gruzlewski will once again be playing Cupid, helping the farmers find the perfect match. This season features five new farmers, each with their unique charm, hailing from different parts of Australia.

Sophie
Sophie is a 25-year-old social media manager from Queensland. Despite her love of the city, Sophie insists that she’s not a princess and has a strong countryside to her personality.
One of Sophie’s special qualities is her cooking skills. She promises not to overcook the steak and will make an amazing mushroom sauce to go with it. It seems like Farmer Brenton might be in for a treat if Sophie gets the chance to cook for him.
Brenton’s good-hearted country boy attitude draws Sophie to him, and she states that they are both happy people searching for someone genuine. Every time she watches Brenton’s video, it puts a cheeky smile on her face.
Sophie also reveals that she and Brenton have some things in common. She grew up on a sheep and cattle farm in a family of five. Her parents have also been married for over 30 years. Could Sophie be the one for Brenton? Only time will tell on this season of Farmer Wants a Wife.
“Farmer Wants a Wife” airs Sunday at 7.00pm and Monday — Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
