Got a Little Cabin Fever? Freeform Has a Classic Movie Marathon to Help You #StayTheFFHome
If you’re feeling particularly restless while staying home amid the coronavirus outbreak, Freeform is looking to help you in two ways: the network has launched a multiplatform social distancing campaign to encourage everyone to #StayTheFFHome and is providing viewers with plenty of entertainment in the form of marathons! In addition to the campaign PSAs telling everyone to stay at home, the network will air a 10-episode marathon of its breakout series Everything’s Gonna Be Okay on Friday, April 3. Then, starting on Saturday, April 4, Freeform will host themed movie marathons every weekend, including “Chick Flick Weekend,” “Super Hero Movie Weekend,” “FunDay Weekend,” and “Hunger Games Weekend.”
The campaign is a bid to “distract, educate, and entertain fans while creating a sense of communal viewing,” and if a weekend of classics like Miss Congeniality, Jumanji (the 1995 version, respectfully), Back to the Future, and the Hunger Games saga doesn’t sound like a sweet time in, we don’t know what to tell you. Check out the rest of the marathon lineup ahead!
