Farmer Wants a Wife 2022

If you’ve been watching Farmer Wants a Wife and thinking that you wouldn’t mind meeting a wholesome country boy of your own, then we have got some great news for you.

The hit dating series, which is currently capturing Australia’s heart at the moment, has been renewed by Channel 7 for a 2022 season and applications are now open for those interested in giving it a shot.

Just think, you could re-enact the classic Sex and the City episode where Carrie visits Aiden’s upstate New York country property and have a regional romance all of your own!

This could be you!

In a statement, Seven’s Director of Network Programming, Angus Ross, said: “Once again, Australians are hooked on Farmer Wants A Wife and the journey of our five farmers as they look for love in all the right places.

Farmer Wants A Wife has been a key part of our content-led growth strategy over the past year or so. It makes perfect sense to bring the show back in 2022, with a whole new batch of farmers and their potential partners.”

Hosted by Natalie Gruzlewski, this year’s search for love by our rural RomeosMatt, Andrew, Sam, Will and Rob — has lifted Seven’s television timeslot audience. The 2021 season is also a hit on social media, with 15 million impressions, 7.3 million video views and 1.3 million interactions.

And it’s not just ratings that make Farmer Wants a Wife a standout — the show also boasts a pretty impressive track record and has resulted in 170 marriages, one long-term relationship and 387 beautiful farmer babies worldwide. In Australia alone, the series has resulted in nine marriages, one long-term relationship and 23 babies.

With stats like that, why wouldn’t you want to give it a go? You never know where it could lead and just think about what a unique story you’d have to tell!

Casting for the next season is happening now, with the applications currently open to farmers who are “looking to find their soulmate” and the line now open for ladies to register their expression of interest.

Farmer Wants a Wife airs at 7pm on Sundays, and 7.30pm Monday to Wednesday on Channel 7 and 7 Plus.
