With Award Season in Full Swing, Here’s What to Expect From the 2023 Brit Awards
We are just days away from the Brit Awards making its highly anticipated return, and we can’t wait to see what unfolds this year..
The annual ceremony is a huge moment in the music calendar, and celebrates the very best artists in British music and further afield. Last year, we watched as Adele swept the board, taking home three out the four main prizes. The singer won Best Artist, Best Album and Song of the Year for “Easy on Me”.
Harry Styles and Wet Leg are leading the noms this year with four nods each, while Stormzy, Cat Burns, and The 1975 are following closely behind with three nominations a piece.
Comedian Mo Gillian will once again be fronting the ceremony, and the show will include performances by Harry Styles and Lizzo, as well as Sam Smith and Kim Petras.

When Are the 2023 Brit Awards?
The 2023 Brit Awards will take place at 8.30pm on Saturday, 11 February at the O2 Arena, London. For us Aussies, that means the awards will kick off on Sunday, 12 February at 7.30 am.
How to Watch the 2023 Brit Awards
Due to the awards being aired on a British TV channel, it makes it difficult for us Aussies to tune in live. However, videos will be uploaded to the Brits YouTube Channel, which can be watched from anywhere in the world.
Who is Hosting the 2023 Brit Awards?
Mo Gillia returns to host the Brit Awards for a second year in a row. The British comedian first took over the role from Jack Whitehall in 2022.
Who Is Performing at the 2023 Brit Awards?
Not only is it going to be a big night full of awards, it’s going to have some powerhouse names hit the stage to perform. Lewis Capaldi, who is in the running for Song of the Year, was the latest artist confirmed to perform. He’ll be joined by Harry Styles, who recently celebrated winning Album of the Year at the Grammys, as well as Stormzy and Cat Burns.
You can also expect to see performances from Sam Smith and Kim Petras, David Guetta, Becky Hill and Ella Henderson.
