Hold onto your hats, folks, because it’s time for another season of “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Season 9 is finally here, and it’s already delivering the laughs and chaos that we all know and love.

After two seasons of being forced to film in northern New South Wales due to COVID, the borders are finally open, and we’re coming to you live from the South African jungle. And of course, we couldn’t have “I’m a Celeb” without our dynamic duo, Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown, who are back to host the madness.

If you’re tuning in and thinking, ‘Wait, who are these people?’ don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We’ll give you the lowdown on each celeb, what they’re known for, where you’ve seen them before, and what charity they’re competing for. Get ready for another wild ride!

Adam Cooney

This guy was absolutely killing it in the AFL scene back in the day. He was picked first in the 2003 National AFL Draft by the Western Bulldogs, and one thing’s for sure, he did not disappoint.

Before he was recruited, Adam was already making waves while playing for West Adelaide in the local State League Competition. But once he hit the big leagues, he took things to a whole new level. He was a total baller on the field, and he quickly became known as one of the most damaging midfielders in the game. In fact, Adam even won the Brownlow Medal in 2008.

But it wasn’t just his individual talent that made him so incredible — Adam was also a key player in the team’s success. Sadly, the team suffered some heartbreaking losses in the Preliminary Finals in 2009 and 2010. But Adam’s contribution to their efforts cannot be overstated.

After a few more seasons with the Bulldogs, Adam was traded to the Essendon Football Club. He continued to bring his A-game for two more seasons before retiring in 2016.

“I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” airs at 7.30pm, Sunday – Thursdays, only on 10 and 10 Play on Demand.
