Jon Hamm and Anna Osceola Married in a Big Sur Ceremony That Included a Nod to “Mad Men”
Jon Hamm is a married man. People confirmed the actor married Anna Osceola on Saturday in Big Sur. TMZ was the first to report the wedding news. (POPSUGAR reached out to the couple’s reps for comment on the news but did not receive an immediate response.)
Hamm and Osceola met on the set of “Mad Men,” when Osceola appeared in the final season, and their wedding reportedly included a nod to the award-winning AMC series. The couple wed at Anderson Canyon in Big Sur, which also happens to be where the series finale was filmed. Additionally, Hamm and Osceola’s wedding was a star-studded affair with pals including Paul Rudd, Tina Fey, and Billy Crudup reportedly in attendance.
The couple first began dating in 2020, before People confirmed their engagement this February. They went on to make their red carpet debut at an Oscars afterparty in March 2022. Since then, they’ve become red carpet regulars, with one of their most recent appearances being at the premiere of their movie “Confess, Fletch.”
Hamm, who tends to be private about his romantic life, previously discussed his relationship with Osceola in a 2022 interview with Howard Stern. “I’m in a relationship right now, and it’s comfortable. It’s a feeling of taking care of someone else and being taken care of,” he said. “And it’s also been a process of working on myself, my mental health and unpacking all of that trauma, my realizing that, you know, when you lose somebody that’s so important to you like a mother so early, that creates a wound that blocks a lot of that emotional accessibility, that blocks a lot of that availability, and vulnerability.”
When asked if he was thinking about marriage, Hamm revealed he was ready to take the next step in his relationship. “It’s only been in the last couple of years of me kind of sitting down and really thinking about it,” he continued. “That’s made the relationship that I’m in now even more meaningful and opened up the possibility of things like being married, having kids, defining a new version of happiness, life, wellness. All that stuff that sounds hokey and whatever, but it’s real and it’s what I’m working for.”
