Josh Peck and Paige O’Brien’s house just got a little bit fuller thanks to the arrival of their second child. The couple announced their happy news on Instagram on Friday, Oct. 14, with two posts featuring photos of their baby boy, Shai Miller Peck. Little Shai joins his big brother, 3-year-old Max Milo.
Peck and O’Brien announced they were expecting again with a baby bump photo on Instagram in June. The photo was taken during a family trip to Italy, and O’Brien casually captioned it with a spaghetti emoji.
Their birth announcement posts weren’t quite so subtle, with the newly minted parents of two sharing plenty of photos of Shai. O’Brien shared three photos alongside the caption: “Shai ?.” In the first photo, Max kisses his little brother’s head, and in the second, the brothers appear to be enjoying some downtime together. The final pic is a close-up of Shai, who is wearing a soft gray onesie and has his hands up beside his face. Meanwhile, Peck shared a photo of the boys hanging out on the bed together alongside the newborn’s full name, “Shai Miller Peck.”
The comments on both posts are full of congratulations for the family. Peck’s “Grandfathered” and “Fuller House” costar John Stamos commented, “PERFECTION!” Bryan Greenburg added, “A wise man named Josh told me the only bad part about being a parent is there are no bad parts!” And Kristen Doute wrote, “???? i can’t wait to meet him!!”
Peck and O’Brien tied the knot in 2017 and announced they were expecting Max in 2019. Since then, the couple have devoted plenty of posts to celebrating all the ways Max has changed their life for the better. In December 2021, Peck celebrated his oldest son’s third birthday by sharing how much he loves being a dad. “If life is a simulation, kids are certainly the best part,” he captioned a photo of him and Max on the beach together. “Happy 3rd Birthday Maxi, you make your mom and my heart sing.”
