It would seem that the romance rumours between Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and actor Julia Fox are, indeed, true, with Fox telling Interview magazine about the pair’s “instant connection”.
In the piece titled ‘Date Night’, Fox wrote, “I met Ye in Miami on New Year’s Eve and it was an instant connection. His energy is so fun to be around. He had me and my friends laughing, dancing, and smiling all night.
“We decided to keep the energy going and fly back to New York City to see Slave Play. Ye’s flight landed at six and the play was at seven and he was there ON TIME. I was impressed. After the play we chose to do dinner at Carbone which is one of my favourite restaurants. Obviously.”
Once at the iconic Manhattan eatery, Ye apparently orchestrated a photoshoot for the two of them (as you do) which Fox insists the other patrons “loved” and “cheered us on while it was happening.” Um, sure, we can go with that.
Fox goes on to say that “After dinner, Ye had a surprise for me. I mean, I’m still in shock. Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes. It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment. I don’t know how he did it, or how he got all of it there in time. But I was so surprised. Like, who does things like this on a second date? Or any date!
“Everything with us has been so organic. I don’t know where things are headed but if this is any indication of the future I’m loving the ride.”
Considering the couple just met seven days ago (at the time of publishing) it seems like the word “whirlwind” doesn’t even begin to cover it. However, we are big fans of romance here at POPSUGAR Australia so we are wishing the two well and enjoying being on the ride with them (but not in a creepy way).
Meanwhile, whilst there have been no elaborate restaurant photoshoots or hotel suites filled with clothes (that we know of) Ye’s ex Kim Kardashian seems to also be enjoying her budding romance with comedian Pete Davidson.
If everything works out for the respective sets of lovebirds, there could be some very interesting, and highly publicised family vacations on the horizon.
