Everything We Know About Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer’s Wedding Plans So Far

It seems Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer are still in the thick of wedding planning. Stewart announced the pair’s engagement on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show” in November 2021, and since then, we’ve been excited to hear what the super-cute couple have planned for their nuptials.
Naturally, we have a million questions. When will this event of the year take place (because we will clear our schedules to check those Insta Stories)? Will Stewart be wearing Chanel? Who are the lucky folks who will be on the guest list? Luckily, we already have the answers to some of those questions.
Even though Stewart has kept her romance with Meyer (and her past relationships in general) super private, it seems she’s more willing to share details with the public now, and we’re soaking it all up. After all, we’ve seen Stewart get married many times on the big screen – see: that “Breaking Dawn” wedding with Robert Pattinson‘s Edward – so we can’t wait to see how beautiful she looks on her real wedding day to the woman of her dreams.

Who Proposed?
Stewart first announced her engagement during a Nov. 2, 2021, episode of “The Howard Stern Show,” revealing she wanted to be the one who was proposed to – and Meyer delivered. “We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it,” Stewart told Stern. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted, and she nailed it. It was really cute, she did very well. We’re marrying, it’s happening.”
She continued, “I wasn’t specific at all. It’s not a given that I would be the one. You know what I mean? With two girls, you never know like who’s going to fulfill what weird f*cking gender role thing. We don’t do that or think about it in those terms. She just grabbed that bowl and made it happen. It was f*cking so cute.”

The couple have been dating since 2019 but since getting engaged in late 2021, they have not shared when exactly their wedding will take place. May we suggest a nice summer wedding?

Stewart and Meyer’s wedding will likely have a mix of the couple’s family, friends, and coworkers (here’s hoping Dan Levy is invited and attends in one of his amazing outfits!), but there is only one person Stewart has specifically mentioned for the guest list: Guy Fieri. She said on “The Howard Stern Show” that she hoped the Food Network chef would officiate the wedding.
“We did hear that Guy Fieri from the Food Network officiates a lot of gay weddings,” Stewart told Stern. “So, the idea of that man – that sweet, sweet spikey-headed man – coming to our wedding and officiating it, it just makes me laugh so much.” Stewart was in luck because Fieri actually agreed to do it!
In a Nov. 4, 2021, “Today” episode, Stewart was shown a taped video of Fieri saying, “Hey Kristen, Guy Fieri here, and I heard through the Flavortown grapevine that you are looking for a sweet, spikey-haired officiant for your wedding. I’m all in!” Stewart then told host Hoda Kotb that she “absolutely” wanted Fieri to do it, saying, “Do you know where he lives? What’s his address? Does he live in LA? We should talk about this.”
During a March 16, 2022, appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Stewart gave us the Fieri update we’d been waiting for, saying, “I think he’s like totally down because I’ve heard through the grapevine – he’s like followed up a couple times” before joking that she’s been “too busy” to plan the wedding.
It seems Stewart’s been so busy that she’s given up on trying to snag Fieri as her officiant, because during an Oct. 26 appearance on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live,” she shared that she and Meyer will “probably just marry each other and then call Guy and say, ‘You were here in spirit, babe.'” In her defense, the “Spencer” star said she’s “bad at planning stuff,” but perhaps there’s still a chance for Fieri to book the gig. Fingers crossed!

Stewart said on “The Howard Stern Show” that she doesn’t plan on hiring a live band for an important reason. “No, you need the hits,” she said, adding that “full-on wedding music” is a must. Is it safe to assume the ’80s hit “All I Need Is a Miracle” by Mike & The Mechanics from “Spencer” will be played at the celebration? We sure hope so!

Although we know Stewart looks gorgeous in a wedding dress, she told Stern that she plans to forgo the traditional gown for her big day. Instead, she’s planning on going for a more casual look: jeans and a cutoff tuxedo T-shirt. We know the couple will both look amazing no matter what they wear!

As of right now, the couple have not announced the location where their wedding will take place. However, Stewart’s reaction to Fieri offering to officiate was asking if he lives in Los Angeles, so we can probably assume it’ll be there. Stewart also mentioned having the wedding in LA on “The Howard Stern Show,” saying, “I want to stay home. Like I want to be in LA so everyone can come.” As for the venue, it’s sure to be somewhere as unique, laid-back, and stunning as Stewart and Meyer are.
