After an intense season of Married At First Sight, we’re ready to see something wholesome on our television screens. In comes Lego Masters with mind-boggling challenges, a new “Power Brick” and a shiny new set.
Returning to host the show is Hamish Blake, along with judge Ryan “Brickman” McNaught, who is one of only 14 certified Lego professionals in the world. And of course, no season of Lego Masters is complete without its contestants, and this year, 16 of the country’s best Lego builders will compete against one another in the hopes to become the next Lego Master and win $100,000.
This season is set to be more exciting than ever with never-before-seen challenges and wild twists and turns. From The Car of the Future to The Stuntman — which requires the contestants to build a model that can fly through a ring of fire — the competition is expected to keep everyone on their toes.
2022 also marks the return of The Bridge, which any Lego Masters fan will know as the biggest challenge from season one — but it comes with a twist. And that’s not all. We’ve seen the “Golden Brick” and the “Platinum Brick”, but this year, Channel 9 is introducing the “Power Brick”.
Last year David and Gus took home the $100,000 prize money after being crowned the champion of Lego Masters. In the final, the three remaining teams had 28 hours to build whatever they wanted and were given complete freedom with no limitations.
So, When Does Lego Masters Start?
The competition will kick off on Monday, April 18. So gather the entire family and get your creative juices flowing, because you’re going to need it.
